Reviewed: The Ultimate Bundles Genius Blogger Toolkit-Is It Worth The Money?

Today I’m going to be talking about Ultimate Bundles and their Genius Blogger’s Toolkit 2020. It’s that time of year again when a bundle has just been realised so read on to find out my thoughts on it and my favourite resources.

What is the genius blogger toolkit?

If you followed me for a while you’ll know that I buy these bundles every single year and this year is no exception. It’s really good value for money and basically just a giant bundle of useful blogging resources: there are ebooks there are courses, style stock photos, and even software bonuses.

As I got access to the toolkit a little earlier (due to being an affiliate), I thought I would talk you through my honest opinion of it.

What do you get in the genius blogger toolkit?

In total, there are 18 ebooks, 5 printables, 100 stock images, and about 55 e-courses for $97 which works out at just over £70 depending on the dollar-to pound translation. I obviously haven’t tried every single resource but thought I’d pick out some of my top picks to give you an idea of what’s included.

Canva Easy Design Pin Templates

One of my favourite finds was a bundle of Canva templates for Pinterest and I thought these were really good. There was everything from recipe ones to round-up ones to blogging tip ones and the pins look really professional and are far better than I could create! It takes just minutes creating pins with one of these templates. Here’s an example of one I created in a minute or two using the template…

One Hour Ebooks and PDFS

Another book that I thought was really great was called one-hour ebooks and PDFs. I talk a lot on here about creating passive income through ebooks. This was another strategy about turning your own blog posts into mini ebooks/printables and making some money that way. It was actually a really interesting ebook and it’s something that I’m going to consider doing when I don’t necessarily want to create a whole new ebook!

The SEO Jumpstart Course

 Another thing that I thought that makes it a real bargain is an item I have already purchased separately and it was The Productive Blogger SEO jumpstart e course. which currently retails for twice the price of the whole bundle!

This is a really thorough course on SEO from a blogger’s perspective. There aren’t many good courses on SEO that I found, and I’m a bit gutted I paid full price for it. So if you’re looking for some help on SEO it’s kind of a no brainer buy this bundle: you’ll get a really good course that’s more than worth the bundle price and I always recommend Eb who runs it for anyone that asks me about SEO tips (she wrote this 10 tips for improving your SEO post for me too).

Emma Drew’s Affiliate Workbook

Another familiar face is Emma drew has her affiliate workbook. I haven’t actually looked at this affiliate workbook yet but I have done her affiliate course before and found it really useful so I am sure this will be too” It’s great to see another UK blogger in the bundle, because there does tend to be more American bloggers.

The Holiday Spike Course

Another course that is well worth joining is the holiday spike course. It’s a really interesting idea about getting more traffic around the Christmas period. Bits of it won’t necessarily relate because it’s American, but there is some great stuff on gift guides and affiliate links, getting your Christmas relevant posts on Pinterest and that kind of thing so I’m working my way through that and I think that’s a really useful course. I am going to make more of an effort with Christmas content this year.

Pinterest ebooks

There are lots of resources on Pinterest so it’s an ideal bundle if you’re hoping to learn more from Pinterest. There is an ebook called the Pinfluence Playbook which was really comprehensive and walks you through the whole process and how the author has 4 million monthly views on there.

There was another one about tailwind strategies and I thought that was useful too. There are also resources on video pins and sponsored pins.

Finally, I’ve just enrolled in the Pinterest Marketing 101 course and am working through that. The cost of the course alone is $197 but I do think not all of the course is relevant if you’ve been using Pinterest for a while. It does cover lots of different things such as the type of Pins to create, when to Pin, Pinterest analytics, and has an in-depth video about Pinterest’s latest changes.

Printables

There are some templates for you to create your own printables as well as printable resources. To be honest, I never end up printing things but The Deluxe Blogger binder is great if you do: it has sections on things like income tracking, projects tracking, planning your blog content, etc. The Ultimate Printables Kit is lots of printable resources to help you plan your own printable resources.

Pitching and working with brands

There are two books on pitching and working with brands. A Bloggers Guide to Working With Brands is really comprehensive but I thought the second one, How to Confidently Pitch Yourself to Brands was really quite poor.

That might seem a bit convenient given I have my own pitching ebook but honestly I would not follow that book’s advice! So far, that’s the only resource I was really disappointed with.

Bonuses worth trying

As well as resources, you also get a few bonuses.

The 3 months trial of Meet Edgar is the one I really rate. Basically, this software scours your blog every 24 hours, and creates a library of content; so all you need to do is go and schedule it. So it actually creates tweets for you based on your blog post! It’s a little bit fiddly to get your head around starting up but I think it will actually save me so much time.

There is also a trial for Wordable which helps you quickly covert posts from google docs to WordPress-I love this idea because I’ve started recording my posts as voice notes to save time and then transcribing. However, I just cannot get the plugin to work on my blog which is a shame as it would save me lots of time! I’ve sent their customer support an email so hopefully that will get it resolved!

Finally, it also has a trial of Tailwind for three months if you’ve not used tailwind is definitely worth doing as well as the usual offer is just a month.
