What is automation?

Automation is the use of mechanical or electrical devices to perform tasks that would otherwise be done by humans.

One of the most common ways automation is utilized is through machine learning. Machine learning allows computers to learn without being programmed, which contributes to their ability to automate tasks.

Machine learning consists of three main types: supervised machine learning, unsupervised machine learning, and reinforcement machine learning. Supervised machine learning uses training data sets with known outputs for input data sets with unknown outputs; unsupervised machine learning makes predictions about the output without any labels, and reinforcement machine learning trains using feedback on previous predictions made.

Automation has started to become much more popular in our society as technology advances and companies are looking for ways to cut costs and increase production efficiency. As this has grown, there is more demand for roles in automation for those who can set up and create these machine learning sequences and manage them in the workplace.
