Hello! I haven’t updated this in a few weeks as I’ve been so busy with actual real-life freelance work, which is exciting indeed! I have been pitching away and landed quite a few freelance writing commissions; three of which I filed yesterday, so I finally have a spare hour to update this finally! I’ve combined blogging and freelancing into one board this week!
As well as this, this week’s plan is to work on my passive income. I’ve joined the Independent Girls Collective and Grow and Glo (both membership groups which I’m really enjoying!) as I really want to work on self-development. I have three ebooks and my plan is to work on them and give them a bit of an overhaul for you all!
So this will be the last chance to buy my: FREELANCE WRITING TOOLKIT: HOW TO MAKE A LIVING FROM YOUR WORDS for the reduced price of £6.99 with the discount code, before I put it up to the full price at the end of next week.
If you need convincing (yes, I know I’ll get to the opportunities in a bit!) then I’ve also created a special offer whilst I’m busy rejigging things behind the scenes.

If you’re looking to buy it, you can upgrade and buy all THREE of my ebooks for £9.99.
My pitching brands toolkit, my grow your blog toolkit AND my freelance writing toolkit for under ten pounds. The total price of this is over £20 usually so yep, that’s half price!
I’ve done this so I can give you the chance to snap them up before I rejig the sales pages and give them a little facelift!
P.S I know this is annoying if you’ve bought my book already, but send me an email and I’ll happily honor this discount if you want me to.
Okay, on with the opportunities…

This section of the blog simply acts as a useful message board; unless stated otherwise, I’m not involved with any of the brands mentioned here and I offer this space free of charge for them to share opportunities. Please do not reach out to me to discuss/any questions about the opportunities but reach out to the brands directly.
At the moment, the idea is this to be for small businesses. I do not charge to post on here and you can email me on hello@thebloglancer.co.uk with info on your opportunity. Do read this post: 13 bloggers share their tips for brands reaching out before working with bloggers. Make it clear what you’re looking for and what you can offer.
The majority of the opportunities on here will be unpaid and are from small businesses wanting to make connections. This is not for everyone but as mentioned in my 10 things to do when your blogging work has dried up due to COVID-19 Post, I think now is a really good time to make connections.

-I am looking for bloggers with MS/CFS for a paid project. Fill out this form but do not apply if there are not recent posts about this on your blog.
These are just writing gigs I’ve spotted in the public domain and I’m not affiliated with them.
-I mentioned Lacuna voices last time and they’ve now clarified the types of pitches they’re after here.
We average around 50-100 pitches a day and love reading them. It might help you – and saves us all time – if we made it clear we’re not commissioning corona content. We want to hear about all the other issues that impact our lives outside of the ongoing pandemic. Thanks 🙏🏻
