The Blogging and Freelance Opportunities board w/c 25th October

October 25, 2020

Welcome back to another opportunities board! Today I’m sharing a mix of freelance writing opportunities and blogging opportunities, so let’s dive in.

Freelance Writing Opportunities

AD coming up-I’m telling you about my latest event (feel like I’m the only blogger who discloses their webinars as AD but I digress…)

Before you dive in, I wanted to share my latest event which, if you’re looking to make a living from freelance writing will be really really useful.

It’s capped at 15 participants and it’s a one-hour workshop with me: where I talk you through the process of finding places that will pay you to write for them (there’s a whole bunch below!); how to pitch them and get a commission.

I’ll talk you through how I managed to get ten freelance writing commissioning this month just by pitching (and, no, I don’t live in London and I don’t have a journalism qualification).

I’ll also be setting up a private Facebook support group for me to share freelance writing opportunities and for you to share your successes and get feedback on your pitches from me and the rest of the group (can be done outside of Facebook if you’re not a member).

It’s £15 a ticket and we have the lovely Punthea from Lacuna Voices kindly sponsoring a few tickets. So if you’d love to come but just can’t afford it, email me: hello@thebloglancer.co.uk Otherwise, you can grab your ticket here (be quick, there’s only 15!)

This was such an incredibly useful post!

As the mother of a mischievous 8-month old, I’m definitely interested in working with a few of the brands you’ve mentioned. 😄 I love Rosa & Bo’s toys, they’re too cute!

    Thanks for sharing your insight!
