10 small brands looking for gift guide bloggers (part 1)

Can you believe Christmas is already around the corner? Well, it is for us bloggers anyway. In the blogging world, many of us now start working on Christmas content and gift guides. But if you’ve never done one before, where should you begin?

Well, I’ve got a few useful blog posts to share with you. Firstly, last year I wrote an introductory guide to gift guides for bloggers which his useful. I also interviewed the lovely Fran at Prezzybox about her top tips for pitching PRs for gift guide inclusion.

Today, I thought I’d continue in the same vein as last year and use my blog as a way to connect bloggers looking for gift guide products and small businesses who are keen to gain coverage. So you’ll find below 10 small brands as well as their websites and email addresses to get in touch.

Top Tips for Working with Brands

Before I share, I’d like to suggest a few tips for reaching out to brands and ‘good’ gift guide etiquette.

  • Don’t just email every brand. Take a look at which ones are the best fit for you and your readers. It’s not about what freebies you can get
  • Do think about what you can offer. Small businesses, in particular, rely on bloggers and ‘getting the word out’ but make sure you can offer something in return. It might be worth including information on your stats and readership-so they can understand if it fits their customer base.
  • Don’t just send the same email template to every brand.
  • Do your research.

Our lovely York Stockist @walterandmay ~ HoB has such a lovely home there. So if you are in York this weekend look Beth up and pop in and say hello✨ . . . #Repost @walterandmay with @get_repost ・・・ Happy hump day lovelies! What's your fave home fragrance? Do you go for something soft and floral or something with a zing of citrus ? For me, it depends on the time of year and also which room! For the bedroom I love a musky/floral but for the bathroom, some a bit more zingy ♡ My fave from the range we have from @housebluebelle has to be Cuban.
